Our Story

August Robotics was founded by Alex Wyatt with a global team of technical and commercial specialists. After months of market research, we focused on automating floor marking for the global exhibitions industry — leading to our first robot, Lionel.

Since then, we have expanded worldwide and partnered with market leaders to develop new robotic applications in industries including construction, commercial and industrial fit-outs, and exhibitions. Backed by leading venture capital firms including Blackbird ventures, Grok Ventures and Skip Capital, we have the resources and ambition to bring new robots to market and capture opportunities in emerging sectors.
